Plugged this in for the first time and it sparked at the outlet there’s no on and off switch. Overall good for priceThis is a very good waffle maker. I love that the plates are removable - makes clean up so much easier. Heats evenly, is nicely compact and, for the money, is quite a good buy. I do wish there was an on/off button but it's not a deal breaker that there isn't one.I like this product and recommend to family and friends.I have only used the waffle part of the Multifun, but it has met my expectations well! I've had it a couple of months and only made about 50 waffles, but so far, so good!No waffle iron has perfect heat distribution, and this one is the same - waffles are a bit paler around the edges, but I like them that way. The rest of the heat distribution is very even so waffles cook evenly AND the no-stick has been non-sticky! (I add a bit of bacon fat to the upper and lower parts just before I make a batch, but as I use up the batter I do not add more fat, and there is no stickiness.) I have only gently hand-washed the exchangeable trays, but they come out and go in the heating mechanism easily, which is nice.I have to admit, the light feature baffles me somewhat. There are two lights - red and green. Red means it's heating up, and that works just fine. The green one is supposed to go on when it's ready to put the batter in. That part works fine. Then I'm not sure when the green light goes on or off or what it means. But that's okay since I have easily learned to judge by a sense of time plus peeking to see if I want a soft waffle or a crispy one - so I just ignore the light. This is the only reason I gave the device a 4/5 on "Easy to Use" - it IS easy to use... the light just confuses me a tad.I am absolutely pleased with this waffle iron and will continue using it as long as those trays continue to not stick!cookThe grilled cheese/waffle maker is what you would expect to get. It is easy to clean and use. Something that would be good for a dorm or someone who doesn't like using the stove. It crushes the bread for grilled cheese into maybe the width of 1 slice but the bread does get a nice crisp. I like the waffle maker plates better and plan to continue to use it as a waffle maker. The outside of the waffle got crispy when I left the batter in for around 5 minutes although the suggestion on the directions included said around 3. Overall a good buy.Like most people, I wasn't good at making pancakes or waffles. Plus, I didn't have the kitchen space for a toaster. Other than some difficulty cleaning the inside after a few uses. It exceeded my expectations.Within 5 minutes, I can finally enjoy fresh waffles made by myself. Not that crappy frozen stuff in the supermarket freezer. In less than 5 minutes, I can enjoy omelets. In three minutes, I can toast bread.I wish the seller had a tips guide on other tips you can try with this product. It's a safe purchase, for the waffles, from my earlier attempts, try to make sure your blatter is not watery, otherwise, you got a "disfigured waffle" that looks undercooked.I usually avoid buying kitchen gadgets with limited use but my wife really wanted a waffle maker. After a little research, I chose this one based on the price and reviews. It worked well but I have little to compare it to.It was super easy to use, heated up quickly, and was easy to clean. It never got too hot or overcooked a single waffle. Each pair of waffles popped out easily and without leaving any residue behind which was nice. It was so easy, that a kid could use it with a little supervision.My only complaint is that the bottoms cooked faster than the tops so the waffles weren't cooked evenly. Putting a little pressure on the top for the last minute or so of cooking seemed to help.Overall, I'm happy with it and would recommend it. The waffles I made tasted way better than the frozen ones we usually make in the toaster-oven and weren't that much harder to make.Está súper cool
