This meatball maker is well made of a nice weight of stainless steel. It's not the thin, tin-like stuff that is often claimed to be stainless steel. It is good and solid. It is stamped on the handle of the meat holder SUS 304. Not sure why there is a U when I thought it should be SS for stainless steel. It definitely feels like good quality stainless, though.The only thing I found wrong with this item is that the "Pot Brush" was not included in my package with the meatball maker, as it stated on the product page that a pot brush would be included. It also showed it in some of the photos, of which I included a screenshot of the sizing image from the product page in my photos that shows the pot brush with given dimensions. Personally I am okay about not getting it; though I was curious as to what one of those was like. I have never seen one before, lol.I will recommend the meatball maker. Other than one item missing from the package, the meatball maker and it's separator spoon/slider were the main items and they both are nice, durable items that I am happy to have. Perhaps I just got a one in a million package that slipped past quality control without the pot brush.
