This is a very good ice maker hose. I replaced another brand which gave a horrible plastic taste to the water and ice cubes even though I flushed gallons and gallons of water through it. This hose had no plastic taste from the very beginning. I installed it and flush it with about two gallons of water and from that point it has performed well. Another design feature I like is that the diameter is slightly smaller than the other hose I replaced. It made snaking it though the back of the cabinets much easier. I highly recommend this hose.
