It is sturdy, its cute, it is easy to clean and use but it is quite small. I JUST manage to squeeze in and flatten a sandwich in the big section, the smaller section fits maybe 4 or 5 small strawberries. Its ideal for my child at nursery though but if looking for older child you might need something bigger.
