This makes great ice and very quickly. The method used for creating the ice also results in a very clear ice.Pros:* Makes ice very quickly. A tray about every 20 minutes.* The ice breaks easily into cubes.* The ice tastes great.* Machine is rather portable. I run it about once a week and keep it in the kitchen next to the freezer when running it. This makes it easy to drop the ice into the freezer.* The drain works well and is well placed.* The ice does not melt quickly in the storage area. The ice stacks up well and will stay intact. I like to put it in the freezer which makes it nice and solid for drinks.Cons:* The plastic scoop that comes included is tiny.* There is an option to turn on machine on with "more solid" ice and there is no feedback from the machine that it is in that mode.* The ice is a bit wet when it comes out. I think this is normal for machines at this price point. Keep in mind machines in this price range do not refrigerate the ice, they only freeze it.Overall, I really like this device. I think it works especially well in conjunction with a regular freezer because the ice machine is faster than a regular ice machine and the freezer freezes the ice more completely than the ice machine will.
