Not wimpy in coffee flavor, Buffalo Soldier is a favorite. Great coffee!As usual Marley coffees are of great quality good taste and robust in naturei like dark coffee, but i don't want it to just taste just 'black' or 'dark', ya know? i like something i can taste and has a pallet. this is by far my favorite coffee. i buy it in k cups to have for convenience, but i also like using grounds. i especially enjoy mixing the last, not quite enough for a cup by itself, amount with some other coffee - it always accentuates anything i add to it. it may be a little pricey, as in more than the coffee at the grocery store, but it is obviously a higher quality - so i don;t mind paying the premium. Amazon sells it at, what i consider, a very low and fair price (especially with the high frequency of coupons). do yourself a favor, buy it and try it - if you don't like it, send it to me.This coffee had an expiration date that was a year away. It was FRESH. My apologies for the wrong information.Would I buy again? If the price was right. I drink this coffee STRONG, and it is still SMOOTH.Flavor profile? Not a profound flavor, but smooth.I enjoyed the espresso, not fine ground but okay. The taste is smooth, not bitter.The packaging needs work, maybe a tin or resealable bag, had to find a container.Great tasteDefinitely my new favorite coffee for my French press!The method that I use to make an espresso in a French press (I have a Bodum):Boil 1 cup water. I use the microwave.Scoop 3 heaping tablespoons of coffee grounds into the French press.Add just enough water to cover grounds (DO NOT PLUNGE) let sit 30-60 seconds.Add remaining water and place lid on, DO NOT PLUNGE YET. Let sit another 60 seconds.Plunge once, immediately pour coffee into mug/s :)I also froth some milk in the microwave while making my coffee (Disclaimer: AT YOUR OWN RISK! NEVERTHELESS leave lid on jar in microwave when frothing milk) and add a shot of caramel syrup sugar free and 2 packets Truvia :) hope this helps!I used to buy Marley brand Jamaican blue mountain coffee weekly from our neighborhood organic store, it was delicious and a good sting cup of coffee. What I received this last week has zero flavor or coffee effect. I would not buy again.All Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee beans are not the same. The Marley brand is smooth and delicious. It is flavourable and deserves time to be enjoyed. It is roasted well and is not bitter, even if you brew it extra strong. The price is similar to my local roasted JBM, so is a great substitute when available.Quite a misleadind description of product. It should read 8oz or 227g package. As it is described I was expecting 8 of these packages. The coffee is to my taste but because of the misleading description I can only give one star.love the coffevery bitter.
