I rarely leave non-5 star reviews, however these beans were lacking.Delivery service lost the first bag, so customer service had another bag delivered to me in 1 day which was great. Knowing these were not going to be amazing green coffee beans at the price point I was still a bit let down.I hand sorted through these to remove any major defect (bore beetle marks, tri-beans, and any split broken pieces) and lost 15% of the total weigh which wasn’t great. After that the range in bean sizes swung wildly from the odd peaberry to some tiny quakers.. all this before being roasted.Post roast, to a City+, they were bland and lifeless tasting.Overall if you like them by all beans keep purchasing them, however if your looking for a good green coffee I would personally contact a local roaster and aim for a bit higher quality for the price.I paid over $12/lb for these beans but have since found a local supplier for $7/lb.There was nothing wrong with the beans and I can recommend them based solely on quality, but I have no need to buy them here in the future.Good price, fast delivery!
