I had my doubts about a rechargable burr grinder, but didn't want a manual, and it's meant for grid down or travel situations anyhow.But the burrs of course aren't properly aligned. Massive wobble. So set on the largest grind available I get everything from espresso grind to french press. Far from ideal, but didn't break the bank, either.And it's slower than molasses in January, and only holds 20 grams.But it gets the job done. I use an Aeropress, so don't even use the jar. I fill the hopper and put the thing right on the aero, and it grinds right into it. Takes a few minutes for 20 grams, and I use 40+, so I get up, put 20 in and start it, let the dogs out, go to the bathroom, come back and add another 20, go check news, weather and security cam footage, and I'm all ground. Works fine for the aero.You have to make allowances. If you want a great grind, you don't want this. If the grind is less important, and you just want to be sure you can have coffee when TSHTF, this'll do 'er. If you want fast, leave now, this ain't your grinder.I've now ground a half dozen full cups, so run the grinder a dozen times. So far the battery still shows full.The grinder part can be cleaned in running water. Love that.For what it is, it's great. For what you might expect, not so much. But as I said, it gets the job done, for me.This is the second grinder that I got. I owned the exactly same one for a year and it stopped automatically stopping at the end of the grind. I got a new one at the binning of this year and it started doing the same thing after only 5 months. It’s ultimately still usable and I like its light weight and all the other features, just annoying that I now have to figure out if the grind is done and press stop. Disappointing since it’s priceyI bought another variety of a rechargeable burr grinder that I thought was going to be really terrific except for the charging system seemed to have some issues, which is not the case with this product. The nice thing about this rechargeable unit is that it only requires a micro USB cable and there's no particulars about amperage limits for charge, which can be really cumbersome, as was the case on others. This unit seems to be the real deal, not only is it sturdy and well made, the battery lasts a long time and would be a plenty sufficient to take for a week on the road without having to worry about charge. Although if need be, it would be no problem to hook up to just about any charge source.I also like that it is a ceramic burr grinder instead of stainless steel.Another ideal features is the auto shut off, which enables me to fill, start and come back to the ground coffee. I've learned to just grind coffee as needed vs having it stored in larger amounts for the best taste. This is why the unit isn't large and only allows for a couple of scoops of beans at a time There is nothing about this unit that I see needs improvement. It's also small enough to fit easily into the cabinet with my other coffee items and doesn't have any clumsy cords.This is not the ideal unit if you want to grind a large amount. It's really meant for single serving, although it has no problem grinding fast enough to be finished by the time my other brewed coffee is ready for another go.None of the lithium batteries seem to last more than a month before starting to act up. My decision to buy this grinder was to save some money and purchase this coffee substitute in bags of beans Deducting beans price I am saving some cash that will pay this grinder off within a couple of months.I can move this grinder anywhere around after charging. I am surprised it selected micro usb instead of a quick charging type C port. The battery lights use 4 to show amount of battery charger remaining. The box kit included a spoon for pouring beans into the machine.Operation is simple just use a gentle press on cover to grind the quantity of cacao I need for the cold brew French press.Lasted only seven months until I failed. Save your moneyThis grinder looks well made but it would only grind for a few seconds and then stop. I made sure it was fully charged but the problem persisted so I sent it back.Item broke within weeks. Sent item back to US from Australia and recieved notification they got it on 11th April.... over a month and no refund from themDO NOT BUY OR TRUST THIS SELLER
