I chose to purchase this even though at the time it had no reviews because of it being "food grade" stainless steel. Yes it is made in China so food grade is generally better purity wise. There were two small stickers on the handle, one stating that it was made in China and one stating the quality assurance inspection. It has two wooden slabs on the front and back of the handle with three (brass ?) rivets. I tend to use a potholder out of habit, but when once I didn't, the handle was room temperature. I'm not sure how well the lid is attached to the pot, but it fits nicely and I see no reason to worry about it unless you are going to throw it about. It has a tiny steam hole in the lid, and holes the full area of the spout. I don't fill it to the brim (it is just for me) and I find that filling it to the bottom of the spout makes two generous mugs full. I would imagine it as other coffee makers use a 5-6 oz to the cup measurement. The insides fit together nicely and and in the pot level and of a nice size. I do not have a problem of coffee grinds in my cup not using a filter. One time I did get 3 pieces of coffee in the bottom of my last cup. I use this on an electric stove about 50 years old and so make sure I put it on the burner properly. Aside from the glass top the entire unit is made of stainless steel. If you are looking to keep your coffee hot for hours on end use a thermos or insulated carafe. This keeps the coffee hot enough for me and it takes me well over an hour to drink 3 cups so I would say an hour and a half with me letting the pot sit on the burner turned off.I hope I thought of everything for you in this review. The only thing I would change if I had my druthers would be a duller color or maybe enamel on it to cut down the shine factor. If the sun or light hits this right, it can be blinding, but that seems to be the style these days. The lid fits, but not real tight, so if you are going to turn the pot nearly upside down, you will likely want to put a finger on it. It makes good coffee and I doubt I will wear it out, but if I do, I will buy this product again. Yes even with no warranty information. Trying to find one made in the US is next to impossible which is why food grade was important to me. It comes in product box which shows what it is, so if it is a gift plan on wrapping it. Mine arrived in two days in excellent condition.
